From hobby to career — here's how Molitor Designs came to be
My interest in design started early, doing arts and crafts with my grandma. That's where I first got hooked on the idea of creating something from nothing. Little did I know, that hobby would shape my entire career.
In high school, I took classes like intro to design and photography, and that's when everything really clicked. I realized this wasn't just something I enjoyed — it was something I wanted to turn into a career. I continued that path at Central Lakes College in Brainerd, where I earned my degree in graphic design.
After college, I was hired by a new advertising agency in Brainerd. It gave me real experience working with clients and handling professional projects early on. While that opportunity didn't last due to shady ownership, it ended up being the push I needed to take control of my own path.
That's when I started Molitor Designs. What began as a way to keep designing quickly turned into something more. I've continued growing by focusing on what actually matters: clean design, clear communication, and results that help businesses stand out.
